GEORGE SAKELLARIDIS
Music teacher and choir director

In 1982 he created the Children's Choir of the Municipality of Rhodes and in 1992 the Experimental Choir of the Municipality of Rhodes, and he still conducts both of these choirs today.

With these choirs he has given concerts in many parts of Greece, but also in Cyprus, Austria, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Turkey, the Czech Republic.

He has collaborated with the Symphony Orchestras of the Greek Broadcasting Corporation, the Greek National Opera, the Republic of Cyprus and with the Symphony Orchestra of Sofia (Bulgaria).

He is a Ph.D. in "Music Pedagogics" (Cross-cultural Music Education). For ten years he lectured in the Pedagogic Departments of the Aegean University.
